LUMI PLAY LAB
Terms of Use
Effective date: 31 July 2026
1. Acceptance and adult use
By creating an account, accessing or using Lumi Play Lab, you agree to these Terms. You confirm that you are an adult authorised to use the service and, where relevant, to use it with learners in your care.
2. Online-only licence
Subject to these Terms, Lumi grants a limited, revocable, non-transferable licence to access published resources through the Lumi Play Lab website for legitimate educational use. Resources are online-only. No ownership, download right or source-file right is granted.
3. Prohibited use
You must not copy, download, scrape, record, reproduce, distribute, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, remove notices from, bypass access controls for, or create derivative works from any resource or part of the service, except where expressly permitted by mandatory law. You must not share account access outside your authorised use.
4. Accounts and security
You are responsible for account credentials and all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of suspected unauthorised access. We may suspend or terminate access to protect the service, users, rights holders or the public.
5. User feedback and ideas
If you submit feedback, game ideas or other suggestions, you grant Lumi a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free right to use, adapt, develop and commercialise them without compensation or obligation, unless a separate written agreement says otherwise. Do not submit confidential material.
6. Intellectual property
Lumi Play Lab, its resources, designs, software, branding and content are protected by intellectual-property laws and remain owned by Lumi or its licensors. Any rights not expressly granted are reserved.
7. Service availability and disclaimers
The service may change, be interrupted or be withdrawn at any time. Resources are provided “as is” and “as available” to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, educational outcomes, compatibility with every device, or error-free operation.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lumi and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, loss of data, revenue, goodwill or educational opportunity. Our total liability relating to the service will not exceed the amount paid to Lumi for the relevant service in the 12 months before the claim, or USD $20 if no amount was paid.
9. Governing rules
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Lumi’s principal place of business, excluding conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer law requires otherwise. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining Terms remain effective.
